Second EditionThe ITAM DispatchAbout the practitioner
About the Dispatch
Who writes it, why it exists, and how the matrix is built.
Personal project · Sept 2026Edition infoCerAImic
The ITAM Dispatch is a personal release-briefing project, not a publication of Noventiq, Flexera, Snow, Octopus, or CerAImic. It's the kind of thing I kept building by hand for client engagements and decided, eventually, to put somewhere I could point people at. You are reading it because the URL worked.
What follows is the story of who I am and why this site exists. The technical practitioner story is short. The cognitive-architecture story is longer and may not be for everyone. Both are true at the same time.
"I view human emotion, memory, and trance through a systemic lens, exploring how biological gain controls, signal routing, and subconscious data storage mirror machine intelligence."
From the practitioner's working notes
§1 The practitioner behind the Dispatch
I'm Ali Najef Abu Ita, a Technical Consultant at Noventiq since 2013, where I implement, configure, and maintain enterprise Software Asset Management platforms: Flexera One, Snow License Manager, and Octopus Cloud. That is the day job, and it is where this Dispatch was born.
Thirteen years of running SAM audits inside tier-1 corporate estates means I have read the Flexera changelog more times than is healthy. The reason the ITAM Dispatch exists is simple: every release ships with a wall of PLAT-IDs and a dense release note. Most consultants do not have time to triangulate which fixes apply to their installed versions, which introduced new regressions, and which are still open. The Dispatch does that work, so the next conversation with a customer can start at "here's what you need to know" instead of "let me go look that up."
§2 Three pillars of the practice
Pillar I
AI Engineering & Agentic Systems
Founder of CerAImic. Built The CerAImic Nerve Center, a multi-agent autonomous framework using local orchestration and agent tools. The Dispatch itself is a small artifact of that work: version-pickers that drive a client-side matrix render.
Pillar II
Cognitive Architecture, NLP & Hypnotherapy
Certified practitioner in Ericksonian hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Off-clock practice, not part of Noventiq, not part of CerAImic. Listed here because it shapes how this site is written: behavioral change, state modulation, and the systemic view of memory and signal.
Pillar III
Technical Consultant: ITAM / FinOps
Thirteen years at Noventiq, Flexera One / Snow / Octopus, enterprise tier-1 infrastructures. Translating vendor licensing logic and stakeholder compliance requirements into working technical configurations. This is the engine that funds and motivates the Dispatch.
§3 Career timeline (as it stands)
2013 → present
Technical Consultant, ITAM/FinOps at Noventiq
Implementer and maintainer for Flexera One, Snow License Manager, and Octopus Cloud across tier-1 corporate infrastructures. Tier-1 means: regulated, multinational, audited environments where a broken upgrade has real consequences.
2022
Founded CerAImic
Personal AI engineering project. Built The CerAImic Nerve Center as a multi-agent autonomous framework. The local-orchestration pattern later became the backbone for several consulting deliverables, including the data pipeline behind this Dispatch.
Concurrent with ITAM work
Certification in Ericksonian hypnosis & NLP
Practitioner-level certification. Practice runs off-clock; it does not appear in Noventiq deliverables and it is not offered commercially through CerAImic. It is mentioned here because it shapes how the Dispatch frames problems (feedback loops, state transitions, signal-to-noise), not because it is for sale.
2026
The ITAM Dispatch launched
The second edition compares FlexNet Inventory Agent and FlexNet Inventory Beacon against the current 26.4.0 release, covering the 25.x and 26.x release lines for the Agent and the 22.x through 26.x lines for the Beacon. Three editions (Agent, Beacon, Flexera One ITAM) with separate data files so each can be updated independently as new Flexera releases ship.
§4 How the catch-up matrix works
The matrix in each edition is generated client-side from the release and issue records, together with the support lifecycle, the published problems and the compatibility constraints:
data/agent-issues.jsonOne record per issue: PLAT-ID, summary, fix versions, introduced version where relevant, severity, real-world impact.
data/agent-versions.jsonOne record per release in scope: version, release date.
State machineFor each (issue × installed-version) pair, the matrix computes one of five states: Fixed (released in a version newer than installed), Open (still unfixed at installed version), Introduced (regression introduced in installed version or newer, not yet fixed), Uncertain (range is ambiguous), or — (not relevant at installed version).
Affects-us labelsEach row carries one of four labels (Yes / No / Check / Maybe), describing whether the issue likely affects a typical ITAM shop, not whether your shop is affected. You do the final word.
Real-world cellEvery issue row includes an italicised "What this means" cell explaining what the bug or fix actually means in a customer environment, written for practitioners who need to decide whether the upgrade is worth the disruption.
§5 Frequently asked
What is this site?
A personal release-briefing for Flexera's FlexNet Inventory Agent, FlexNet Inventory Beacon and the Flexera One ITAM platform. Pick your installed versions. See what's fixed, what's open, what got introduced, all without reading the full changelog.
Is this an official Flexera / Noventiq / CerAImic publication?
No. It is a personal project. It is not reviewed or endorsed by any of those organisations. PLAT-IDs and version numbers are reproduced from public Flexera release notes for editorial commentary.
Who is the audience?
SAM consultants, ITAM leads, and IT operations engineers who manage Flexera One estates and want a fast read on whether their installed versions are still safe.
How current is the data?
This second edition tracks the 25.x and 26.x release lines for the Agent and the 22.x through 26.x lines for the Beacon (Agent: 25.0.0 → 26.4.0; Beacon: 22.4.0 → 26.4.0). The current Flexera release covered is 26.4.0. Newer releases are added by appending to the JSON files; the HTML pages will pick them up.
What about older versions?
Versions older than the release lines above are out of scope for this edition. For pre-25.0.0 Agent or pre-22.4.0 Beacon history, refer to Flexera's archived release notes.
